It's sturdy enough for my year 1 child to use. Normal pencils would break everytime my kid puts hard pressure on it and this product did not. Also a tripod shape helps with better grip. Rubber at the back is not the best quality but pencil itself is good so I might buy more refills.

Both of my kids are using these pencils for in-class and home assignments, one is a 5th grader and the other is the 3rd grader. With 1.3mm diameter lead refill, the pencil creates bold lines for the smooth and consistent writing, great for students to work on some specific assignments (sketching or making bold notes). Also for that thickness of the lead refill, it’s more durable and less prone to breaking compared to finer leads, more beneficial for those who tend to press hard while writing or drawing. The other features like built-in eraser, textured/cushioned grip and advancement mechanism of the pencil, provide convenience and enhance comfort during extended use. Would recommend these!

Not the typical flimsy, constantly breaking pencils that most of us are used to.My kids enjoy the thickness of both the body and the lead - leading to a much better writing experience.
