This is exactly what I needed to hook up a 30 amp cord to a 20 amp generator outlet. It has 12 gauge wire between the plug and outlet, precisely what is required for 20 amp service. The ends are also tight fitting. Great quality, great price. All good.

Perfect for my 10/3 wire 20 amp shoreline outlet to my RV 30 amp trailer connection. There is no heat. Any the light is a positive indicator.
