Light does not fit without modification on 2014 Ram1500 cab. Even when modified (break alignment tabs) the seal material is not thick enough to make a successful seal resulting in a leak. Add better seal and it works like a charm.

I've ordered various Partsam lights, from taillights to side markers, never had problems. Given my history with them, I decided to order this.The first thing that occurred was the first trip through the car wash. While going thru the automatic wash, I looked in my backseat and to my surprise, saw water running, yes RUNNING down both pillars and into the seats. So the first modification was to add weatherseal (pictured). It works great, the foam that it comes with when purchasing the light, just throw it straight in the trash.The second complaint... I had some other underlying issues with my keyfob and tpms sensors not working, initially thought it was the LEDs. So I went to take off my light and the cover just fell off, the glue had failed. So glued that back on.The third complaint would be the light output, it's poor. It only illuminates about 1/3 of the bed (pictured).However, as far as looks go, it gets rid of that red oem look, which is what I was after (smoked lens). I'm sure the lens has some to do with the light output being dimmer, but other competing brands do a good job with countering that.

obviously this was made and never offered up to see how it would fit . Massive gape all around and no gasket / seal provided . Had to use a whole tube of sealant to keep water out . Would not buy again . Hopefully lasts longer than the 2 month life led bulbs amazon sold me previously

I replaced the OEM light because it was leaking in the area. Turns out the screws were loose on the OEM but I replaced it anyway. The only issue was the pegs on the replacement light were bigger than the original and I simply cut them off. The two screws fit perfectly and I used copious amounts of black silicon. Hasn’t rained so I don’t know if the fix helped or not.

Looks great on the truck and the brake light works, but the cargo light doesn't work.

This light is very much exactly what it should be, and likely what RAM should have put into the truck from the beginning. I am satisfied that they actually produced an item better than OEM, and it is well made to prevent leaks from weather. I do not like how the foam gasket is supposed to be installed by the owner as it leaves too much up to the owner to get it right the first time. Use of the resistor is appreciated and likely will prevent any future burnouts as what continued to occur with the OEM product. I will purchase from this company in the future if they have a product I need.1 star - product does not do what it was purchased for AND is poorly made.2 star - product does not do what it was purchase for OR it is poorly made.3 star - product does what it was purchased for, and it properly made.4 star - product does more than what it was intended for OR is made in an outstanding manner (long lasting)5 star - product does more than what it was intended for AND is made in an outstanding manner (long lasting)

Dislike the fact the cargo that never shuts off bulbs always on not a proper set up to allow just plug and play
