The spaces on the side are so large that pens tend to just slide down the side and sink into the slot making it hard to grab. I love the idea, and I am using it for my desk, I just wish there were more compartment separators halfway between the larger tall areas to keep pens from leaning all the way across the empty compartment.

The body is made of a metal mesh, allowing easy view of the contents.The 3 large exterior slots allows easy sorting/organization of pens and other items, while the center slot is perfect for long items like scissors or rulers. I did find that the external slots should have had dividers to cut them into an additional 2-3 slots per. The reason is because if you don’t have enough pens in each slot, they tend to lean across the slot and is not as nice or easy to organize your pens. Also, the spiraling design also makes one slot very shallow and not ideal for pens, but more suited for paper clips and small items.The body rotates 360° somewhat smoothly as it has what looks like plastic bearings underneath. I would have preferred metal or something a bit smoother as I find it needs a bit more effort that it should require to properly rotate. But the rotating design does allow easy access to the contents.It also comes with a couple packs of adhesive page tabs and a retractable exacto knife. These were unexpected, but a welcome bonus.Overall, a decent pen holder. The large slots do cause an issue if you don’t have enough pens, so some DIY’ing may be needed.At the time of this review, the pen holder was priced at $11.39.

What I like about this organizer is the fact that there are 5 places to put things. It fits perfectly in the corner of my desk and holds all the things I need it to hold. There are also these little pads on the bottom of it which makes it sturdy when you spin the organizer.
