Bought 4 for a loft ladder lift. They looks sturdy but it has to be taken apart to attach it with a lag bolt. They are held together with an e-clip that took me a hour to pull off of the first one with pliers and screw drivers. In the process the clip finally flew off and got lost. Replaced with new ones since it was probably unsafe in the condition it ended up in. The replaced didn't fit. The lag bolt head looked like it would rub against the 3/8" cable over time. Returned them all.
