We own an 80lb per day ice machine and three big freezers. When these came across my Amazon feed I was not looking for or even considering ice bags. I can only guess it has to do with the 16 Alexa devices, multiple cell phones listening or one of the other 24 devices running with mic's. Either way we were talking about all this ice we make every day and my wife putting it in the freezers in one gallon freezer bags.Well thank goodness for digital spying, third party cookies and lack of privacy. Because within 24 hours Amazon found the solution without me even asking. And that solution was these bags.These bags are thicker than the bags you get ice in from the gas stations and ice stops so I don't know where the complaints come from about them being too thin. Even though we own an ice machine, three actually, I'm always grabbing a bag of ice at the bait shop to take fishing. Well no more, thanks to the miracle of "somebody or something is always listening and/or watching", I can now bag my own ice and not pay $3.75 to my buddy who owns the bait shop.These are good bags, sturdy, thick and I would never have considered buying them except for the reasons above.

I’m not sure why people don’t like these? Perhaps bad batches? These are great bags! I’ve used 16 so far and several of them twice. They are tough and durable. Better than the commercial bags that I get ice in at the beer store. I will buy more of these!

Just like the bags you get when you buy a bag of ice. Durable, heavier weight plastic so you can drop the bag of ice to break it up without the bag splitting...

Great quality bag. Does not rip and comes with twist ties to seal. Nice big bag too.We have an ice maker and when we go to other peoples places we can bring along a bag and it looks nicely packaged upon arrival. Definitely worth it.
