We have two boxers who have demolished our yard. To make things worse, our soil is sandy and we have a lot of shade -- all factors considered, any seed started doesn't have the best chance to survive. After getting astronomical quotes for zoysia grass, we decided to try artificial grass. So far we've laid 5 pieces using 10in nails and a mallet.. two very unhandy people were able to tackle this.. we are buying more as we can and working to cover their run track. It looks great and they are happier.. they are cleaner... Big win for us. Located in Tampa for weather/heat reference. Installed for about a month. Will update review if issues arise.

Looks like real natural grass! Great if you have a pet, used around our camper when traveling.

This artificial grass I wanted to replace my once red lava rock pathway from street to back door and this worked perfectly! It looks so beautiful. The base was hard and stomped on for decades. I dug up the walkway, temps ving sharp edges rocks, bucket by bucket, to another 🎚️ cation. Bought the weed blocking tarp as underlayment. This realistic grass is really a great look and will hold up under minimal traffic. The grass has brown worry blades and green blades of grass mixed together, so it looks natural. The grass shines as of it is just watered. I got the custom width and length just for this run. 53 FEET X 3 FEET WIDE. PERFECT CHOICE FOR ME AND UNBEATABLE IN LOOKS AND PURPOSE!!! GET IT IF YOU WANT IF YOU WANT A REAL LOOK OF SOD!!!

It was described as exceptional and and more expensive than the smaller size I got at costco for a different area, so I thought it would be at least as good. It was not, I ended up buying two smaller area ones from Costco and seaming them together.Cost of shipping back to Amazon via Canada post was ridiculous - $70 because of the size and the only option to ship to was Amazon BC. so if you buy this, beware that return cost is substantial.

I bought this for my apartment balcony. It was super easy to cut with a box knife. I just use large stones to hold down the corners and it hasn't budged. It's been in the elements for 2 months now and it's holding up great! No rips or tears. Grass isn't falling out. The material seems very durable. The grass is super soft! I can walk bare foot and it feels great! I find it actually pretty comfortable to lay on as well. I mean it's not grass, you can tell, but it's soft enough to mimic it pretty dang well. Word of caution: It gets very hot in the sun. Like it will burn your feet. So be careful with pets in the summer. What I'm using it for it works perfect! It makes my balcony feel like a small yard and gives it a more homey feel. Well worth the money!

*** Update 4/2024: (5th pic) 5 years later overall holding up very well and color still looks good.**Update 9/2021: (2nd 2 pics) Grass is holding up well. Having problem with ants building in corners - solved with boiling hot water. Best investment- no maintenance, looks good. after 2 TX summers has not faded **2019- (1st 2 pics) I have only had this down a week. I have 2 cats and a dog. It was easy enough to install - it is "bumpy" now even though I mowed the weeds as low as possible. It is slightly "sticky" and gets pretty warm in the 100 degree Texas heat but my pets seem to like it. I only wanted it around my patio - less mowing, less bugs/ants and less weeds. My grass mostly died after a few years of extreme drought so this seemed like good replacement.
