I’ve had this same one I bought for over 7 years now and I’m only now doing a review.It was heated up every day according to instructions for 5 years with my hedgehog. Worked like a charm.It gets quite hot, so do wrap it in a towel so your baby doesn’t get hurt.

So....bought this to put in an outdoor cat bed, for a feral cat.He will have none of it, and would not sit in the bed with this inside.BUT - it is such a neat little disc, holds heat well - now it is for ME!If house is feeling a bit cool, I put it behind me in my chair, or on my lap. Can go to an outdoor event, and keep it on my back or lap, and it provides warmth for a long time. Also nice to warm up sheets for toasty feet, etc.BUT…. bought this item in December 2024 for $37.99, and now it is $49.99. What??

Excellent way to help feral cats in our cold winters. Microwave them and placed in their straw houses, and they loved them!! I even placed in their “diner” so they stayed warm while eating. I used these as we have straw in their houses, so didn’t want anything electrical .. Would definitely buy more.

This product is really wonderful, We live in an old century house, So consistent heating is kind of a problem in the winter. I first used it for my hamster (and ferrets). But now that I have a hairless rat. It seems very fitting to put it in her cage. Basically, it is a heat pad. You put in the microwave for about three minutes or so. I like it because of the size, It is considerably large and it heats up for a long time. The Velcro on the back of the cover is very sturdy so you won't need to worry much about them touching the warm plastic by opening the cover. I think this product will last me a couple years at least. The one thing I will mention is that it takes up a considerable amount of space in the cage, So be prepared to move things around or have to take items out if your cage if it has a modest floor space. I will mention!! I do not leave the heating pack overnight in the rat cage, Or unsupervised for a couple hours when I first put it in. Because rats are known for chewing fleece fabric, which the cover is made of. If my rat ever chewed the cover considerably when I first put the pack in, She would probably get burned by touching the uncovered plastic.

I have been using this product for over 30 years when I bought my first one from our old vet! It comes from England and it’s well made and does the job of keeping our cats warm in the winter months! I put it under several layers of blankets so they just get some warmth from the disk. Another use for the snuggle safe disk is that I use it with a pillow to keep my feet or back warm when sitting for longer hours in a cool room, or for sport events! Read instructions on how to heat it as it varies based on the microwave you have. I highly recommend this product !

I have a very tiny 17 year old kitty who is always cold. Laying in front of the fireplace just takes it all out of her, and she tends to burrow in her cat bed underneath one of my puffer vests. I came across the SnuggleSafe and it has been a hit from the beginning. I put it underneath her cat bed because it is quite rigid, so the bed cushions it. Only 4 minutes in the microwave with 1 minute to sit = 5 total minutes of warmth that lasts far longer than 10 hours. Sophie loves it. She is not burrowing under "her" vest anymore and is a much happier little lady. Thank you!!!!

My puppy loves when we take this out the microwave as she knows it's time to snuggle up in bed. As soon as we place it in her bed she will immediately curl up on it and we know it keeps her warm throughout the night as it is still warm to the touch in the morning. The only downside is that my puppy has easily managed to take the Velcro off the cover and chew the lining on the inside so definitely need to keep a close eye during the day.
