These paddles are USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) approved so I feel confident of their characteristics for play. This certification means that they conform to the USAPA’s adherence to performance standards such as the ball bounce test, ball spin test, and ball deflection test. Receiving this approval also requires conformance with specifications for the paddle’s size and roughness on the face, for example.The face is made of fibreglass, which is a tad heavier than carbon fibre, but the outcome is that the extra weight provides a bit of a power boost. Fibreglass is also sturdier than carbon fiber.Rather than the typical pickleball case, this set comes with a sports bag overbuilt with very thick nylon. If it were for sale individually, full retail price for the bag alone would probably be $25-28 because it’s such outstanding quality. The side pocket that opens to the outside is perfect to hold 4 balls but what I don’t like about the bag is that there is no place that is designed to protect the paddles, which is what the bag is supposed to be for. If you feel like making or buying protective sleeves for the paddles, then the sports bag is fantastic. If you aren’t willing to do that then it’s a dangerous place for your paddles and you should get a set which is dedicated to holding 2 paddles and 4 balls. It’s a shame that something that says ‘Smashopus’ in big letters is unsuitable for pickleball paddles.The colours on the red/orange one are just as beautiful in person are they are in the photo.If you already have a pickleball bag for the paddles and the balls, then I would recommend this set and give it 5 stars. If you don’t already have 2 extra paddle covers or a dedicated case made for 2 paddles and 4 balls, then I could only give this 2 stars because your paddles will be so poorly cared for in the bag provided. If you love the graphic, scope out the prices of proper pickleball bags before you make your final decision to buy this set.

Great set to get started with pickleball! I love the color and quality of the paddles. The bag is just the right size to carry the paddles and the balls, I think this set is a great value!

This set has been perfect for my girlfriend and me as we’re just getting into pickleball. It comes with everything we need—2 paddles, balls, and a bag. We had a great time at the local park trying it out. While we’re beginners and can't speak to the quality for advanced players, it’s more than sufficient for us, and we’re enjoying it a lot!

I have reviewed several Pickleball sets that come with small bags to hold the balls and pickle ball paddles. Those bags are always way too small and only hold the provided balls and paddles. If you have anything else you're out of luck.Fortunately! This kit comes with a bag that's actually functional! You can put a water bottle in, more balls, even more paddles.The Pickleball paddles are decent as are the balls. You're not getting prograde paddles and balls for this, but for the amateur or aspiring professional, these are great place to start. The graphics are not over the top like I found on many other paddles.At $53 I feel it is a pricey kit, but the best kit I've reviewed to date.Recommended!

This is a really great pickleball set, especially for beginners or a couple that are looking to get into it. It comes with two rackets, four balls and a carrying bag. The rackets feel good, they have a really nice grip on them, and they hit the ball really nicely! Not a lot of dead zones on the racket beyond what you would typically expect from a pickleball racket. The rackets feel pretty well made and the grip on the racket actually feels really nice quality and it's very cushiony, I'm actually really impressed with that aspect of these, especially considering the price.Overall very happy with this product!

This pickleball set has been perfect for getting into the game! My friend recently convinced me to try pickleball, and we’re aiming to make it a regular thing at our community court. The paddles are light but feel durable, so they’re easy on my wrists while I get the hang of it. The grip is comfortable and feels secure, which is reassuring since I’m new to the sport. Plus, the bag it comes with fits everything easily, including my water bottle and any extras I need to bring along. Overall, great buy for my first pickleball set!
