I got this for my 8yr old and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We did have one issue where the app crashed and then his profile seemed to have been deleted, so I made another profile for him and when we tried to scan the QR code for the pets it said they had already been used… which was a bit disappointing but in the app it allows you to create 2 more pets anyways so all was not lost.It’s a super concept and my son had a blast bringing his drawings to life and playing games with them. I also did not run into any issues with the pay to play as others said in their review. We were able to create pets and do everything without a subscription. Maybe we just didn’t play with it enough but this was not the case for us.I would give it 5 stars if they fixed the bugs in the App. Overall pleased with the purchase and contemplating buying the other Pixicade gamer set as well.

Bought for grandkids. Fun and easy to use, recommended an adult help set it up though to get pet drawn and all accessories drawn.

After you buy this kit you download the free app. It gives you a handful of credits to get you started but then it's a pay to play model. It took less than one day to go through the free credits. If I had of known this I would not have purchased at all.
