This is not engine quality paint. Paint on the manifold burned up after the first hour of driving. Not recommended.

I like the way it looks after it dyes. I do not like if you only some and try to seal the container you can not get the cap off .It is costly.

Works awesome as brake caliper paint! I've used the same POR-15 paint on brake calipers, on 3 new cars in the last 20 years. It is truly a one-and-done application. Give it a solid 24 hours (or more if able) to dry. It holds up to the harshest wheel cleaners, and salt belt roads. Rock hard finish that does not discolor or react to UV like the regular POR-15 paints. I've used the Aluminum Silver, Ford Blue, and Black. No discoloration.

I got this because I had so much success with POR 15s other products. This stuff is jut terrible. It is impossible to apply cleanly with a brush, it doesn't self-level like their other products, and it has metallic flake in it which never seems to mix evenly. The finish just never comes out how you want it. I had to paint over it with POR 15s "cast aluminum" spray, which came out perfect. If you put this in a spray gun and shot it, it might come out ok but I don't know. Do not apply this with a brush, it will not come out how you want. This product needs to be retired and re-formulated, it is that bad.

First time using this product. Read some reviews and I'm happy with the results I got on my engine. It brushes on well, and also sprays on great after being thinned. I did use their recommend products to get the best results. The aluminum color is just what I was looking for. This stuff also goes a long ways.

This is amazing stuff. Works well and goes a long way. I painted an alloy trans axle. Then a water pump. Then a rocker cover. Then four alloy wheels. Then a shift mechanism. Then a Brake part. All of these got two coats. There is still paint left.
