Fitment was perfect, but upon I stall it was producing 13V at 2500RPM. Returned it and got one from O'Reilly's auto parts with Life Time warranty, for triple the price. But that one was making 13V at idle.

I like that its new and not refurbished, charges at 14 volts at its highest depending on demands. Replaced on a 2004 Honda Civic 4d.

I was looking for a replacement alternator for my 01 Honda. I went to the dealership for a quote. It was $580 for a new one.That was for a 40 amp alt. This one I got from Amazon is priced very low. And I thing it performs a little better. I'm guessing his alternator is about 55 to 65 amps. Not bad. Keeps up with my 500 watt JL amp.

Works beautifully. Had trouble mounting it in the bracket at first, but thats an easy fix with a bit of filing.It is noisy but the sound is kind of cool lol and I can only really hear it below 2000 rpms so I dont mind it.

Alternator is noisy. Otherwise it's working well so far. It has been however only a couple weeks.

I received the order in a timely fashion. It was reasonably packaged and appeared to be good quality. I waited until several weeks after I installed the alternator as I wanted to review that it has worked well for some time. This appears to be a good product for a very good price and it works well.

Took me a while to get it installed due to weather and time constraints, but no issues so far! I did have to drive down the pin in the bolt slot so it would fit in my 2003 Honda Civic 2DR Coupe. This was installed during a timing belt change so I had to take the mount out anyway. Using a 2 1/2lb hammer and impact extension rod, I was able to hammer down the pin flush. I have noticed that my lights no longer dim like they did with the old alternator when the AC fan or radiator fan kicks in.

I read all amazon reviews for 2003 honda civic EX 1.7L alternators and compared to advance, AutoZone and pep boys. Ordered Friday, got Sunday and mobile mechanic installed today, Wed. Car purrrs. Had to charge my new 3 mos old AAA battery for several hrs but im happy. It fit perfectly. Watched mechanic take old one out and I saved a towing charge to shop. Now to deal with pep boys and the lifetime warranty on the old prostart removed. Love amazon!!
