I'd give it four stars for overall value and quality. The slides are clear and clean. But a lot of us are getting this hoping to find the stages of mitosis in the onion root tip. They aren't all there. I do disagree that the cells are hard to see. We use a $100 microscope, and it's very easy to see individual cells. I haven't checked out the other slides yet.

While these are ok for general review they are not good for a high school science class looking for the phases of mitosis. The onion root slide was almost too thickly cut. Its very hard to see individual slides.

Good slides esp Lily better than large collections which seem to be lower contrast
