So I am restore a very old house that has the amazing antique steel windows (think industrial factory windows with lots of 12x16 panes). They open by cranking out but many of the window cranks were broken so I bought these as a replacement. The first issue is that the little round but at the end of the bar is the the same size so it hits the ends of the window frame and won’t allow the window to close all the way. I figured that was not the manufacturers fault since these windows are old and maybe the design has changed since these were originally designed. To fix it I cut a slightly wider notch in the window frame with an angle grinder which seemed to fox the problem. But now, after only a couple of weeks of use, almost all of these handles have broken off from the arms. The attachment pieces on the inside are cheap plastic so basically as soon as you crank it a couple of times the threading strips out. It’s really unfortunate because I don’t know that I’ll ever be able to find good replacements that aren’t made of cheap plastic.

Very bad quality. Use 2 months and broken. Window can not roll out and in. Not recommend to buy it. Waste of money.

Works Great and easy to install. One problem is the holes are not threaded so I had to run the home depot and get some screws and nuts to attach them to the windows. It did come with screws but I do not know what they were think by not threading the hole. The screws were only long enough for the hole, So I had to buy nut and screws. I wish they were included.Anyway easy fix, maybe there lots of different windows out there. Bottom line is they work and they work well.
