I bought this to help install my pistons into the cylinders. The groove doesn’t line up the guide and the pistons don’t fit way to big for a 4in stock bore. Over all not worth the money and frustration.

Used for my 6.0 ls piston install after wrecking a oil ring using an adjustable band style one. This worked flawlessly. I payed $50 for it and i see its now listed at $75 wich seems excessive.

The tool worked well for installing pistons. No complaints. Used for a rebuild of a SBC.

I first thought this was a poor product and initiated a return with Amazon. I called a friend who is an engine builder and asked to borrow his tapered ring compressor. I told him about the trouble I was having with this one and he quickly told me that it doesn't fit in the cylinder but aligns with the cylinder. I put all 8 pistons in with no problems. This is a very good product.
