Lights are nice and bright if you're looking straight at them. I got them for my pontoon but can't use them. The diodes are recessed back in the bezel and once they're mounted, they sit at about a 30 degree angle and look very dim due to them simply reflecting light off the bezels. If you're looking straight at them, they are super bright but you have to be bright from 0 to 90 degrees angle and have to be visible for x amount of miles.. might not be the best for my application but may work for you..

I purchased these as I wanted some relatively low cost LED nav lights for my 14' aluminum.Mounted them with SS bolts just below the gunwale so that they are fairly well protected from impact. The chrome bezels snap on and conceal the bolts... but you have to chose your fasteners carefully so that the bezels fit over the bolt heads! I ran an insulated cable through the gunwale extrusion all of the way to the transom where I fabricated a mount for the rear light pole socket and switches for the lights and bilge pump.Wired them up today - work as they should. Hopefully they last a long time!

I started messing with the old style bow light post and decided a simple and uncluttered approach made more sense. Used the original wiring and switch and was done faster and with less stress that the older style lights. No messing with finding and removing the post. Just on or off. Perfect.

Chrome peeled off as I used masking tape to tape them on tight overnight because I had to silicone it on because it doesn’t clip on enough to survive a bounce. Then peeled off tape and chrome came with after siliconed all to the boad and holes drilled in a brand new paint job

I recieved this product and thought that there was only 2 in the package when I opened it there were six in there just like there was supposed to be .... should have done that sooner ... sorry for the mix up.
