if you're using it for entertainment and fun its great. sounds are very good, and the speakers are full sounding. but, if you need to use it with a DAW like protools, the midi interface is poor. this wasnt designed for realtime production with a daw controlling the sx. so its going back. we also had zero luck contacting anyone at yamaha, or any product specialist to help us with our tech issue.

Sound too low for some settings, 2 keys sounding not too good.Requested replacement, talked with one of your representative. I was told I would get an email for arranging replacement. email never received as of today, What was discussed 3 days ago, was another new keyboard to be brought here and the box used to return the defective one. Because the unit is large and weighs 30 lbs, it would be taken back by the delivery person, rather than taken to a UPS store. I am 91 years old and unable to do it.What is the status of this request. No email which supposedly would be sent within 48 hours has been received.
