I’m using this pulley as a way to do tricep pull-downs from my basement ceiling. Simply pulling 45lbs up and down it makes a LOT of noise. My kids even heard it upstairs, waking them up. I’m going to try adding some WD-40 and will update the review, but it’s already disappointing.

The little pulley at the top of my 40 year old 28 foot ladder broke. I adapted this pulley to the ladder and replaced the pull rope. Everything works great now. Nice pulley. Much better the the cheap little thing that came with the ladder originally.
