These filters gave off a terrible chemical smell for over a week and don’t work. My purifier no longer turns on when in auto mode. I’ve tried resetting it and it still doesn’t work. Save your money these are useless.

The nice thing about an air purifier is, well, the clean air! But all of the microscopic pieces of soot and smoke that you take out of the air have to go somewhere -- they don't just evaporate. Instead, those pollution microns stick to a filter that eventually has to be replaced when it turns from white to gray and starts to clog the system. A good filter has a high-density to trap the debris, but also a flexibility so it can be installed easily. It's durable and doesn't tear or disintegrate under the continuous pressure of the airflow. Bad filters can actually degrade and then those same contaminants you're trying to clean go back into the air! But not with these.The PUREBURG filters are high-quality and installed easily in my air purifiers. So far (it's been about two weeks) I think they're highly effective. When there's an odor from cooking or a dog runs by shedding, the machine kicks on and clears the air quickly and effectively, just like it's supposed to, thanks to the good filter. I also really appreciate that there were four in the pack so I don't have to think about purchasing more for a while.

These filters look and function just like the Dupray OEM filters that came with the unit. The size fits in my machine well and I like these have less waste than other air filter brands. Great value and function.
