This suits our needs for a clothesline perfectly. It's well made and is taller than the post we had before. It should not rust and the instructions were clear. We also didn't have any parts left over!It required two people to assemble the top section but the pieces fit together nicely.The colour blends in with the surroundings and the height allows it not to interfere with the shed like the former clothesline did.

Update (2023-09-30): Pylex support was responsive and graciously sent a new post. A couple of items to note: a) The first set of bolts should be about a foot in the ground to make a total of 60" of the post buried inside the ground. 2) The load-carrying capacity is 100 lbs of laundry on a 100-foot clothesline.Very disappointed with this clothesline. It looked like a well-engineered product and was more expensive than other options. I installed it inside a proper concrete footing and used it to hang clothes only. However, the screws at the joints under tension began to come apart after a few weeks. The clothesline became loose as the post started to bend. It will break very soon and is not possible to fix. I will need to replace it with a simple metal pipe.

I used the product to hang sports netting between 2 Pylex posts to prevent balls from leaving yard. Takes effort to install, but works very well and is very sturdy.

Product as describe. While pricey is was much more convenient than putting in a big wooden post. Auger worked fine, when we had trouble with really hard clay, we just soaked the hole and problem solved. I recommend this product for ease of install.

First the negative. The auger isn’t really made for the type of soil I have here in the Appalachian foothills though I suspect it would have been fine in the Midwest where I grew up.The tower itself seems very well constructed and was easy to install (once a post hole digger was used). I used an expanding foam concrete replacement and the whole thing took less than an hour. It standing straight and strong. It holds the far pulley of our 50 foot clothesline and has been tested by hanging a boatload of wet blankets, hoodies and sheets and has passed with flying colors.I’ll update if there’s any changes.

We just followed the directions and were able to screw the clothesline pole 4 feet below the ground. It got a little tricky with roots and rocks but they were not show-stoppers. Ran the clothesline from the post to our house conection (about 45 feet) and can now hang a full load of wash. The post is in the ground securely.. Didn't use any concrete. Just screw the post into the ground and you'll be on your way. Amazing!

This clothesline pole works and looks great. It was not as easy to install as we thought it would be. Took us about 4 hours. The auger did not go through the ground well but it did eventually get there. There is a plate to be attached into the ground at the base once the pole is installed. We added a backing plate as there was nothing to hold the bolts in place. Very happy with the end result.

Well made of strong gauge metal. Nicely finished in Black. The instructions and illustrations were very useful - and accurate. All the parts fitted together as designed, and there were a few extra screws / nuts that I didn't need, but would be handy if one of the items dropped into the hole. I am 80 years old, and only need extra help when attaching posts C & D (tied together) to post B. A great product, and not much more expensive than the traditional 6x6x16 wood post, concrete and post hole clamshell digger. Also, a whole lot less work.

Needed to replace a 70' long clothesline pole. The line is about 12' off the ground. Other poles I looked into were much more expensive and had crazy expensive delivery prices because they only came in single lengths. This pole was very easy to install. The directions were o.k., but I liked the company's installation video better. The pole itself is very sturdy and looks much better than the solid pole that used to be here.
