Very poor quality. Cassette player squeals when it reaches the end of the tape and does not shut off and the mp3 player doesn’t work well either. the knobs that switch modes are loose. I will definitely be returning this to Amazon.

Bought this as a shop radio to play cassettes, and to transfer my music to cassettes. So far im pretty happy. The bluetooth works good and the sound is pretty darn good for it. I have only tried the plug and not the batteries, but i expect no problems. All the tuning knobs work and its just like a oldschool boombox from back in the days. Not quite as nice quality wise but for 40ish bucks I am more then satisfied. The only part slightly lacking is the recording function. I pair my phone with the bt and recorded onto a cheap type 1 cassette. Had quite a bit of white noise and some odd reverb issues when you play your freshly recorded cassette. On the flip side I increased the volume on the radio itself, the phone was already playing maxed out. Made a significant improvement. I expect with some nicer cassettes it would improve. However im satisfied as is. All in all I highly reccomend. I will be purchasing a second one here soon so I can leave on at my shop and one at my house. And probably just buy a third to keep as a spare. Since lets be honest, this isnt exactly a sony or tascam. But if its good enough for me to get 3 i think yall would like it

It’s all mono which is already mentioned in other reviews. But what’s not stated is how bad USB/SD/Bluetooth sounds. This is mono as well but that’s not what makes it sound bad. BT is very tinny with no bass and the USB/SD over modulates and is distorted. The radio sounds bad as well. Reception is poor, FM radio audio has no life to it and the AM is very narrow band and not at all a pleasure to listen to.The cassette deck, also mono, is what sounds the best on this unit from an audio quality standpoint. Treble and mids are good and while it lacks bass, the cassette will produce the most bass this system will put out.Overall the system lacks any bass through the speakers. It’s not bad through the headphones.I really wanted to like this device, but it’s a huge disappointment. 2 stars because it plays tapes ok. The rest is garbage sound.

Must be used player. When played cassette for half an hour speed slowed down and sound started dying. Appreciate to let me not ship back and have as gift.

I'm going to give this a honest fair review, and answer the questions I had before I bought it so you can be informed before you buyThe build quality isn't amazing but it's not awful considering its price. It's cheap plastic, the knobs feel cheap, but I wouldn't say flimsy. The adjustment for the bass treble and mids makes very minimal difference, the sound quality is straight up mono. But for a 60 dollar boombox in my honest opinion the sound is decent. I'd rather this than a boring old Bluetooth speaker. But the hiss at all times is really annoying at low volumes, at regular volumes you don't notice it.The retro look is awesome, showed both my mom and dad and they both felt nostalgic, for that it's really awesome. The Bluetooth quality is good, the radio gets good reception, short wave....I mean? But anyways it's there if you wanna use it. Tape quality playback is about the same as Bluetooth quality if it's an original tape, the recording onto tape is straight up garbage. My original intention when I bought this is to convert digital to casette, but the moment you try and record anything onto tape you notice how crappy it is. It records from the microphone, and since it already has just decent sound quality, The microphone will worsen that quality and it will feel as if your listening to music recorded from Windows media player in the early 2000s. It's that bad.My advice, if you want a cheap little player to have a nostalgia trip, by all means. The size imo is perfect, and has decent sound quality for the price. But recording is awful and I still haven't figured out how to go from casette to usb. Also, the rewind is in the fast forward position and vice versa, which is really annoying, like why?Look in your local classifieds and pick up a casette Deck like I did, record your tapes the proper way, and use this little boombox on your balcony or garage and you will enjoy it for what it is. It doesn't deserve the harsh reviews it gets. Hope this helps some of you.
