Can be used as ‘kitchen-catcher ‘ garbage bags for small garbage bag holder that attaches to the upside of a cupboard door. Could be a bit thicker. The handles have broken a few times… but really the bags are made for lighter weight contents. Great replacement for the discontinued grocery store bags.

I thought I had comparison shopped for the thickest available bag of this kind here - plain white t-shirt type plastic bag. Way thinner than I expected. I have yet to test their actual strength and durability. But if you're anticipating the kind of bag you would get at Walmart or Safeway, then you will most likely be disappointed. I'm continuing to shop for that weight of bag.

Its a bag, does what it is designed to do. Worth the purchase for small give aways or takeaways for various community events. It's plastic, if you overload it; it will tear :as should be expected

Pros: it’s a pretty good plastic bag. Now that stores don’t give out plastic bags anymore, you don’t really realize how much you just need it for random things. I thought it would be thicker but it’s good enough for what I need it for. Not really see through, seems sturdy. Easy to separate and pull one outCons: I bout the 100 count and it’s NOT 100! I counted like 5 times and all I received was 74 bags! So basically you’re only getting 75% of what you paid for. So I figured ok this was an error and bought a new set. This one was worse it was only 60 bags! And by no means did the packages look like they’re previously opened and returned The package looked good sealed enough and didn’t look tampered by a previous buyerConclusion: buy it, count it, and if you don’t get 100 just buy another one and take the amount you’re missing from that one and return that

The bags will work but when you pay for 100 you want 100. There was 66 in my package. I read reviews and several people stated this.

UPDATED review November 2024The seller has substituted a thin easily rippable bag for the product I received in my first order. It is entirely unsuitable for my purposes for garbage disposal.MY PREVIOUS REVIEW based on the 1st product receivedSince I haven't found a strong biodegradeable bag yet for kitchen garbage I am resorting to plastic. I have a lot of wet waste that I am not able to recycle unfortunately so I needed a sturdy bag that wouldn't leak or rip easily the way the biodegradeable bags have been. These bags fit the bill and it's a relief to find them. I just hope they continue to be available. They aren't completely opaque but that's fine with me. They fit inside the standing rectangular garbage can I use and they hook tightly and securely around the top rim of the inside bin.I've had a chance to try these and they are proving to be leak proof. Definitely don't seem likely to tear either; they are strong. Thanks to the other reviewers who attested to the strength of these bags. They re a definite find. Please continue to make them available.
