My son loves puzzles and the ocean. This puzzle was an appropriate and fun challenge for him, and it was beautiful too. I love the variety of creatures in the design so there was a lot for him to look at, instead of something more simple. I think it made it more interesting for him. It is also fun that it isn't a traditional rectangle. Would recommend.

While the map is cute, the puzzle pieces are large and thick and the puzzle shape is nice, the pieces are so warped, that there’s no way to do the puzzle. Nothing lies flat. When you attach one piece to the next, another piece “detaches”, and the whole thing falls apart. It’s a pity, it’s really poor… don’t waste your money.

I have two of these puzzles from this same company and although the puzzles themselves are great, the pieces are all warped making it extremely difficult to put together for my two year old son. He gets so frustrated he cries. So even when the pieces are placed together properly they lift on different sides. See photo.
