Have had this for a couple of weeks. Very unimpressed. I thought that going to a AA battery system would make the corkscrew remover more powerful, but it actually is much weaker than my rechargeable device was. Very disappointed.

Works well... not as fast as the USB rabbits. But with batteries you don't need to dispose of it when the battery dies. Requires a little help sometimes but still makes opening bottles very easy

I bought 2 of these for Xmas presents. Thankfully I opened them to check them out before wrapping them. The first one came apart as soon as I held it - the device is inside of a metal cylinder which came lose, exposing the inside. The batteries it came with were already dead. I returned that one, and the other, which looked ok, I kept. After the first one, I decided to try using the 2nd one on a bottle to see if it would work. The batteries were again dead, so I replaced them. I tried it on a bottle, and it wouldn't go all the way down the cork, so it came up stuck half way. I had to remove the cork with a regular cork screw. Don't waste your money on this product!!! Now I have to try to return the 2nd one too!

This Rabbit corkscrew is better than the more expensive “rechargeable” version. (I own both)It operates easily and ejects the cork better than the rechargeable one. To find fresh batteries is easy for me, but to find a dumb little cable is near impossible. I only wish the included foil cutter stored on this opener via magnet on the top. That would be a good future upgrade suggestion. As is, the foil cutter is separate and does not store on the unit.
