Does the job very well. It's very easy to install these without the need for any tools. It's a bit pricey for what you are getting in my opinion, but not too bad overall.

Because these are the only product like it on the market, they are a bit expensive. But, they are a lot easier to install than metal rack mounts and they look attractive in a rack, so I'd buy them again.

Color indicates thickness of the rack. Red were very hard to get in and didn't fit properly.

The Rackstuds R20 II have completely revolutionized the way I manage my server racks. These innovative rack screws are a huge improvement over traditional metal cage nuts, making installations and maintenance so much easier and faster. The design is ingenious—they snap into place securely and hold equipment firmly without the hassle of using tools or dealing with sharp metal edges.One of the best features of the Rackstuds is how user-friendly they are. I was able to install equipment by myself, which is often difficult with standard screws. They stay in place perfectly and allow for easy adjustments if needed. The vibrant red and yellow colors are also a plus, making it easy to spot them when working inside dimly lit racks.What really sets them apart is the durability. Despite being made of high-strength polymer, they can handle the heavy loads of my rack-mounted equipment just as well, if not better, than metal screws. Innovative product. Replaces the awkward fiddling with cage nuts and screws while balancing the equipment that you’re trying to mount in alignment with the screw holes. These make mounting your equipment infinitely easier. Yes, they are made of some form of plastic that won’t be as strong as metal fittings but they hold plenty of weight for even fairly heavy equipment. Tip: reach out to Rackstuds directly and ask for a free sample pack so you can figure out what size works for your application. Highly recommended!

The last time I needed some cage nuts I saw these and ordered both the cage nuts and the rack studs. I was amazed at how easy they were to use, and how well the worked. I have a lot of telecom equipment in my rack, and that puts a lot of weight on the front posts, since it only uses two posts. I wasn't sure how the rack studs would hold up, but they've been in for weeks with no signs of any issues.I would recommend Rack Studs to anyone who has ever jammed a finger or scraped themselves installing cage nuts. This is the next step in rack mounting evolution.
