The rafter hanger hook are made of heavy duty steel metal material, have strong load bearing capacity.
Each hanger has a tough super grip, a no-mar vinyl coating that protects valuable equipment.
Maximum load-bearing is 50lbs. The uncoated part of the hook is 4.8" the coated part is about 2.4". Our hook is two times bigger than standard vinyl-coated hooks.

I use these hooks for my shop lights. I put them on the 2x4's in the shop. It works great, no drilling holes or pounding nails. I just add a chain to the lights if I want them lower.

Metal hooks. I think item was made to hang up items in garages. One end made to secure bracket to 2x4. I used it for bycycles but i feel you could have a broader purpose for these metal hooks.

Review of Rafter Hanger Large S Garage Hooks Bike Storage System Holder Organizer, with Non Slip Coating, for Organizing Hanging Basket, Ladders,Bicycle Wheel,Ropes and Bulk Items (6Pack, Orange)I ordered these to get the majority of my fishing rods and reels up and out of the way. These helped me organize them by the types of fishing I do as well. I liked that there were no holes to drill. They hang over the rafters nicely. The only thing that I would prefer to be different is that the part that hangs over the rafters to be flat on the bottom. The coated hook part is a plus, as is the powdered coating on the rest of the hangers. They feel sturdy and the ad says they hold up to 50 pounds. I assume that’s each one. I don’t have nearly that much weight on them. I like that I can move them around easily enough as needed too. You get a set of six at this price, which is reasonable.

These hooks were better than the ones I was trying to use. These are longer and holds ladders and bulky stuff better!!!

They appear to be sturdy, however they were too large for standard size rafters, and because of that loose, they appear like they are on an angle or bent when hanging something heavier like a bicycle.
