This robust pressure-compensating emitter provides a medium-high 2.0 gallon-per-hour flow rate. Ideal for watering root zones of garden and landscape plants, shrubs, bushes, small trees and medium size containers. Rain Bird's pressure-compensating design ensures all plants receive the desired watering rate regardless of their position along the distribution tubing run. Uniform flow is delivered throughout a wide pressure range from 15 to 50 PSI. Barbed ends securely retain 1/4" Drip tubing for a leak-proof connection. Self-piercing barb allows for direct insertion into the side of 1/2" or larger Drip irrigation tubing, or use with 1/4" tubing for positioning near individual plants. Simple to insert by hand, or for faster installation use one of Rain Bird’s insertion tools (sold separately): ET/1PK25S, HPUN1-1S, and HPTCX. Designed with large water passages and self-flushing action to help prevent clogging. Constructed of highly durable UV and chemical-resistant materials to withstand adverse conditions. Rain Bird emitters are color coded to easily identify flow rate. Convenient plastic bag contains (30) red-colored emitters. These are okay to good. As good as any of this type and a decent value. This type of emitter seals on 1/2 inch hose petty well. 5 stars for value and long lasting.

I purchased the Rain Bird SW20-30PS Drip Irrigation Spot Watering Dripper for my home made pond, and it’s been a game-changer. This little emitter does a fantastic job delivering rainfeature from a PVC pipe, which is exactly what my pond needed. It’s easy to install and the fact that it waters jets go precisely where needed means less water waste, which is great for conserving water and keeping my pond topped up. Will purchase again.

Product was as described and so far works great, put these on newly planted trees reduced water loss by 80%,would recommend buying the Rain Bird drip stakes as well for easier placement under tree and effectiveness.Already purchased again and will in future
