Does exactly what it's supposed to do. I bought two and used them for connecting my 1440p monitors to my graphics card, and I've never had any issues with them. They feel durable, they're long enough for most computer -> monitor connections, and they function as they should.But primarily I'm just writing this review because they keep spamming my email to review their product, and there was no link on the email to ask them to stop. So, I mean, if you're okay with the constant, "If everything is OK, could you please leave an unbiased product review? For your convenience, you can use this direct link," message in your inbox, it's a good purchase.

Cable works fine with my laptop running at 1920 x 1080 at 60Hz with a clean and stable picture. Cable diameter is about 7.4 mm so is moderately stiff preventing tight bends. Plugs and latches seem of good quality but as always only time will tell. However, I would have no hesitation in purchasing again.

Switched from a DVI cable to this after I tried an HDMI cable I had laying around. This cable was way better than the HDMI and was a nice upgrade for my pc even though its just a cable. Everything seems more sharp, more crisp, its hard to describe but I won't go back to DVI or HDMI. I have a 144Hz monitor and what bothered me with HDMI is the framerate limit I had even though its possible to get HDMI with high framerates but for atleast twice the price of this cable! Display port is definetely the future.

This is an excellent product. The price is very good for a 6' length, the ends are well made with positive locks, and the cable itself is quite heavy duty (7.5mm thick, about .3"). I read that DisplayPort was the best video connector type and bought this to use with the new computer that I built, where I installed a GeForce GTX 750Ti video card. I had been using a DVI -> HDMI cable, and saw no difference when I switched to this DP DP cable. I think this is because HDMI was also digital transmission, and my monitors do not exceed the capabilities of HDMI (or DVI). However, as DP is capable of handling 4K transmissions, I will continue to use this DP cable as a way of "future proofing" my system. A good purchase.

As another recent reviewer stated - these sorts of things are pretty binary: They either work or they don't. I had never used a DP cable before and wanted one with decent reviews in order to minimize that as a potential vector of problems. Glad I did because I made every dumbo move trying to get up and running that you possibly could. Mr Brilliant move number one of course is jamming every connector type that your monitor accepts and hoping that the right input is 'magically' selected. Uh, no, didn't work. So, I finally twigged that maybe if I'm trying to get a display port running maybe I should just plug in the display port? Better. Yet there were intermittent issues whereby on every reboot I would get a black screen -- the comp thought it was sending a signal but the handshake or something was messed up and no dice in big screen land. So, to solve that I unplugged the cable and powered down the monitor (by unplugging it too) and then plugged everything back in again. Now that worked until the next reboot when I would be faced with another black screen. ARGHHHHH!So, the first thought would be that the cable is wonky right? Hmph, well, there were all these great reviews and I thought, jumpin' jeepers the cable MUST BE GOOD so forced myself to keep looking for a solution.Well, I'm glad I did because it turns out the the laptop had integrated graphics along with a discrete gpu and I had to turn off the integrated graphics in the bios for everything to work nice. A sad, irritating, little problem that thankfully to buying a cable with a good rep meant that I found the real solution rather than sending the cable back and getting another one while not being any further ahead.Phew. I recommend this cable. :)

Works exactly as expected. It's a 6 foot displayport cable. I needed the extra length over the default one that came with my monitor. Sad to see there's not a longer version than 6 feet but c'est la vie. No issues with it, clipped in fine, disconnects easily (not that I'm connecting and disconnecting often) and carries the signal. Everything looks great.This sort of product is really kinda binary. Either it works, or it doesn't. This works, and I loved the price. Bought it from amazon.ca because it arrives faster than monoprice and was cheaper (since monoprice is USD) and I don't have to pay customs.
