Not going to lie... it is creepy AF if you aren't into spiders but wow is it impressive. You can see the hairs on the body, no repair spots, and great colouring. Only wish is they offered other species of spiders to grow the collection.

The delivery time was exactly as described. The package was well packed and nothing is damaged. The spider was well prepared. His booty is a little bumpy but not bad. The spider did not smell like anything. I can imagine that the manufacturer has changed this due to previous reviews. I love it!

I love it!! It came in great condition and I think the size depends if it’s a male or female unfortunately you don’t get to pick but it’s still the biggest spider I’ve seen!

This is an authentic real mounted spider but it is no bigger than the palm of your hand still quality and worth the money but like I said don't go by the pictures they are misleading go by the actual measurements one and a half inches deep 6 in x 7 in

It's very well done. Really creepy and scary looking. My son will love this for his birthday. It has a strong smell when you first open it so needs some airing in a room or shed beforehand but apart from that, would definitely buy again and recommend.

Spider is amazing, beautifully mounted and labelled! Scent of mothballs, but that's expected as there is a mothball inside of frame (hidden in a small mounted white box) to keep any insects from damaging the specimen. My son is extremely happy with it, it is better presented than ones I have seen a museum gift shop at 3 times the price. Very happy with it!

Open this specimen outside! It smells VERY strong of mothballs. My specimen is airing out in the shed for a week or 2, which I recommend doing unless you want your place smelling of mothballs. The spider is awesome! Very large! The one I received is nicer than the one in the photo. It is perfect! I love this spider. It is very scary. My Mom hates it. It's fangs are enormous! It is a beautiful spider. I'm very happy to add this to my taxidermy collection. This spider is a great addition to any insect or oddity collections. The frame it came in is quite nice, although there is nothing on the back to hang it by. I can fix that with a command strip (it is lightweight enough.) It took exactly 1 month to arrive from Thailand to Ontario, Canada. I would order from this seller again. It was a very positive experience and I would totally recommend.

2 year UPDATE:So I have had this specimen for 2+ years now! It has been mounted in two different apartments and has endured loads of sun exposure and has survived being shaken around in moving boxes twice! It still looks amazing! A tiny bit of hair has shed off from being moved around but not a noticeable amount to anyone looking in. It has held up great and I can see zero deterioration of the actual exoskeleton! I am so thankful I pulled the trigger on this purchase back in 2018. It has been among my favorite specimen pieces over the years. Still highly recommend! Included 2 updated photos to show how well it’s held up! (08-09-20)ORIGINAL REVIEW:What you need to know:The tarantula itself came beautifully preserved, in tact and very carefully posed. You can tell someone put a lot of effort into this! The box it comes in does not include the hanging mounts or anything to hang it with, but is very easy to add a type of mount that would allow you to hang it if you choose to do so. The box is very nicely crafted and put together. (Based off of one review it was “slapped together”) I do not see how. The wooden frame is high quality and very well put together- the glass is nice quality and sealed nicely, no smudges inside and fully in tact. It comes vacuum sealed in shrink wrap (similar to a new hardcover book you have to unwrap) and I do suggest you open it outside and let it sit for a few hours at least! The smell is very strong but please understand that what you are smelling is the chemical preservatives used to keep the spider so beautiful and from falling apart. The little box in the corner- picture a cotton ball dipped in nail polish remover, but instead it is the chemicals that keep it from rot and decay. The smell does go away. The spider was about the size I expected it to be, I would like to remind viewers to remember that no two spiders will be identical in size or anatomy so do have some open minded ness. Mine came with its fangs pulled forward out on display and some come with the fangs tucked in. Little aspects like this will vary from specimen to specimen. I do wish more previous buyers would have posted photos so I am attaching a few here for you guys to see! Overall, I am More than happy ! This is a wonderful specimen and SO much better than I expected. I was super nervous about this because of some of the other reviews, but I can honestly say that I am more than satisfied with this purchase and actually plan to buy at least 1 more😋 it took exactly 1 month to arrive, so be patient as it does have to go through US customs, but was completely bubble wrapped and taped to perfection and then inside an envelope. Whoever packed it for me took the time to make sure it would arrive nicely, and if by some chance you end up with a bad one the seller is more than happy to fix whatever problem may have occurred. Happy buying!

FANTASTIC specimen. Very carefully packaged and no broken bits. Small white box in lower right hand of frame, for disinfection ( I think) but not offensive, nor does it take away from how lovely the whole thing is. Frame is well made and nicely finished. Arrived earlier than estimated. Company took extreme care from start to finish.
