recently upgraded my setup with the Redragon K552 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, and it's been a solid addition to my gaming arsenal. The tactile feel of the red switches is impressively responsive without being too noisy, which really enhances my gaming experience. With its 87 full anti-ghosting keys, even the fastest-paced gaming sessions are smooth—every keystroke is registered flawlessly. The LED backlighting adds a cool aesthetic, and the unique metal rim not only looks sleek but also gives it a sturdy, premium feel. Overall, it's a reliable keyboard that delivers performance and style at a great price point.

High Quantity gaming keyboard at a reasonable price. Do not throw away the box with the QR code for manual & setting options as it does not come with one on paper.

The switches create a very nice sound and are super satisfying to press. the build quality is a nice solid metal design, so it feels quite heavy and premium. They keys are a bit higher than I'm used too, so it took a bit of getting used to the wrist angles, but if you already are used to higher raised keyboards I can't imagine you would notice. it's very compact, excellent quality and design, and I absolutely love typing on it. I actively find myself using my PC more for simple tasks I would usually do on my phone, just so I can feel and hear the key presses on this keyboard.

I went from a $100 Razer membrane-key based keyboard, I was happy with it for many years but my friends in discord were not, keyboard was pretty loud, was getting old, drivers slow/buggy OR basically is like having an old AV installed, etc.Decided to make this purchase as a "budget keyboard" option - and I'm amazed at the quality, the lighting options, the typing experience, the feel&noise of the caps - just the overall quality of the product.I would definitely recommend this keyboard for anyone on a budget/tight on cash, there are a ton of different keyboards in the market especially around this price point but this one is a nice hidden gem.And I'm not much of a keyboard guy, I know you can switch caps or essentially build your own board however I think this is a great out-of-the-box experience.I happen to have the previous model of the Reddragon K551 and compared it to this newer model, mainly just lighting and quality however it's great to see Reddragon still having consistency over the years.Quality - 5(Feels great, looks great, and the sound compared to Razers 'mecha-membrane keys' big +1 for discord)Lighting - 4(7 or so nice lighting patterns, also includes a 'power up' lighting pattern when starting pc/replugging the USB, you can also change speed and brightness of the colours as well.)Ergonomics - 4(I tilt my keyboards out of old habit, however, this one doesn't feel like there is a hammer on my wrist when using WASD, both w/ stands up and down)Keycaps & Typing - 5(It will take some time to get used to depending on the board you're switching from, however its very nice.)AFTER EDIT: Anyone who is experiencing double presses or glitchy keyboard activity / keys - double check your manual and make sure the board isn't in any 'backlight gaming mode' or swapped functions of WASD/arrow keys. There is a mode that also records keystrokes for a lighting scheme, they're hard to activate accidentally but I've had it happen while playing Fallout.

I bought this on a sale from Amazon. I wanted linear red switches, quiet operation and decent gaming responsiveness. This K552 (nonRGB) is adequate for that.Quality is very decent for this price range. It is solid, non flexible, with basic lighting. Those are the prerequisites I had for gaming.BUT ALASSome ReDragon keyboards come with hot swappable switches, but I dare you to try to figure out which one does or not. I researched this keyboard for months and read conflicting reviews even right here from Amazon's users of the keyboard. In the same post, they say "Yes, you can swap, No you can't swap, Yes you can but I can't get the switches out etc" When I ordered I wanted hot swappable if it was available, but with ReDragon it is random. even at the time of ordering I had no idea.Luckily my keyboard had hot swappable switches but the frustration I endured trying to figure out which had it or not, almost made me switch to another keyboard. Some consistency there would be great. As a note, I bought this cheaper version because I had no 100% way of knowing about the switches on the other more expensive keyboards from ReDragon I was wanting to buy, so they lost out on the purchase of 2 other 100.00+ keyboards because I gave up trying to figure out swappability between the equal "yes and no" answers from Amazon users.I would buy this again, but as previously mentioned, I would never buy a ReDragon keyboard hoping with any confidence I would be getting hot swappable or not. I guess this is the reason people spend more on GMMK and other brands because at least it is clearly laid out which switches can and cannot be swapped. But in summary, I would highly recommend this keyboard if you are looking for an economic gaming keyboard without much for bells and whistles, but does the job, and takes up less room on the desk.Specs:Keyboard cable removable: Nope but gold end and well built cablePBT Keycaps Nope ABS with that ugly gamer font - (replace asap)N-Key Rollover YepSensitivity Outemu Red Switches - Higher actuation, linear (no click switch)Lighting Rainbow version - very basic but does the jobCase Surprisingly solid and resistant to flexingYes, I would recommend this but ReDragon, I have 3 more keyboards I'm buying and I already have the ReDragon gaming keypad which I love, and an ReDragon mouse. I would buy from you in a heartbeat if I can make sure I can alternate switches in the keyboard. I think it's a simple request to have that clearly identified on each keyboard, and if it's random, don't even mention it or say no.I would do a full video review of this, but after searching Youtube, there are a ton of previous videos on this keyboard so research like I did.Almost perfect for my use - too bad it was such a frustration to get honest info with all the thousands of reviews out there.

This keyboard is very good for gaming. The keyboard is made out of durable material and feels like it will withstand a few drops, even. The keys themselves are obviously plastic, but it is hard durable plastic. The keystrokes feel smooth and the response time is great. The lighting is amazing, there are many different lighting patterns you can choose from and the light itself is very bright. You can change how bright you want it to be. The red switches are nice, great for gaming. They are not super loud but they will be noticeable if you are in an office or if you are sitting next to someone. If you're alone in your room and you don't mind the sound it will be fine. The keyboard cable itself is not very long, but I'm not complaining. If you are expecting a super long cable, this keyboard doesn't have one. For only 50$ this keyboard is totally worth it. It's only been one day since I got this, but this is my review so far. I will update it in the future if I encounter any problems.
