BMW battery needs to be recharged every 2 weeks if not in use. And that if battery is new and good.BMWs and Minis have a current draw due to multiple systems need to have power even while car is "OFF".This switch is good if you have to leave the car for a long time, no need to get in to a car to disconnect a battery, just click the remote and it done. If a car has rear power gate, when back from vacation yo will need to connect the booster 1st before you can even open the power gate. This remote switch make it convenient to keep the battery charged when owner is away.

Installed on Ram. Installed easily, works well so far. Remote works well, except may not have quite the distance stated and does not seem to transmit through a double pane window.

The device operated effectively for several days, impressing me with its initial performance. However, it unexpectedly ceased functioning after that short span, leaving me utterly disappointed. Given my experience, I strongly urge potential buyers to reconsider their decision and avoid wasting their hard-earned money on this subpar product. It simply does not meet the expectations set by its promises, rendering it a disappointing investment.

Used for winch application. Seems to work well. Maybe a little flimsy, time will tell how long they last.

It works great. Helps battery life and good for overall security. Alot of thieves scan the Vin code by your window and make themselves an electronic key to unlock the doors. With this device, there won't be any power to give out a signal and to be able to make said key .

This remote kill switch works well, if it’s off there is no power, your car can’t be started, if it’s on the engine starts right up. Two downfalls, one is if you have a newer vehicle it more than likely comes with a digital clock and a radio that you can set presets, when you turn off the power with this kill switch it turns off all the power, then every time you turn the power back on you have to reset your clock and your radio presets. If that is not a problem for you this switch is for you, it you would rather not mess with resetting your clock and your radio presets than you’re good to go. Otherwise this switch works really well. Hope this helps you. This is a follow up review for this engine kill switch. At first this seemed to work correctly, but later on there was a problem. When I installed this switch into my 1996 thunderbird 3.6L v6, I tested it to see if it worked properly. At first it did work properly, after installing I tested to see if it worked, with the remote control I turned the battery power off, the power was off there was no power , then with the remote control I turned the switch on and there was power, I started the engine and it started right up. So I did a review saying how it worked properly. But now it is not working properly. The day that I installed the switch I turned off the power to the battery and left it off overnight. The next day I went back to start the car, I turned on the power with the remote control and the car started right up, I drove the car and it worked fine, but I noticed that my digital clock was off and it had to be reset and also my radio presets were off had to be reset. Because of that and considering the fact that my car was in the garage overnight I decided not to turn the power off, so I left the power off. After couple days I went back to go somewhere and I got into the car and turned the power back on with the remote control, but the power was not coming on, my battery was completely dead, which is not appropriate because the battery is about 1 1/2. Years old, nothing was left on to discharge the battery except the battery kill switch. So I took the switch off and reconnect the battery the way it was supposed to be connected. The engine would not start, the battery is completely dead. I had to jump start my engine and it started right up, after restarting I drove the car for about half hour to recharge the battery, since then I restarted and drove the car several times and it starts right up every time. If you think that it could be the charging system, then the car would have not run after I jump started it, and the voltage gage in the dash says that the battery is being charged normally. My conclusion is that the kill switch somehow drained the power out of my battery, so I have to return it, I can’t use something that doesn’t work for me, this is my experience with this product, your experience may be different.

2003 VW Jetta - some electrical drain I can't find. FOr TWO years I have been opening my hood every time I shut the car off to disconnect the battery so it does not drain. I even rode around with a spare battery! NO MORE!!!!!! This thing went on in about five minutes EASILY! It is VERY well priced. The two fobs work without flaw. So this is an excellent product that is MOST highly recommend - especially for those older car owners who just need a way to switch off the battery easily!

Best $30 spent in a long time, super simple install, they send extra connectors and shrink wrap, just in case you want to shorten the wires. The directions are hilarious, as they are clearly, not written by somebody who speaks English fluently, but there are step-by-step, picture instructions as well, a lot easier to understand🤣This one was installed on a 1988 Suzuki samurai, I will also be installing one on my crawler and in my truck👍🏻

Item is exactly what I was looking for. Priced right and quite sturdy. Used it on my RV and it was easy to install with solid connection posts and attachment bolts looks like it should do the job.
