It is so surprising to me that a company as big as Pioneer is in the dj space, would provide such a low quality ac charger. They must know that the majority of dj's that use their controllers are mobile and hence constantly expose the charger to extreme conditions.This replacement unit is just as lame and cheap as the original.Why cant they make a heavy duty cable and insert? So in essence, yes this will work to power your Pioneer unit, but for how long? Always have a replacement on hand until they get the hint and add a strong alternative.
