2018 Transit 250 bought this item to replace the stock one, fit like a glove had to play around to get the stock one out. Gasket is not the best just put caulking around where it meets the body.

the water tight seal is not flush or water tight. you'll have to add something to make it water tight maybe an aftermarket seal. seal does it form to the light, pretty much falls out of place and wont stay in place which then causes a leak.the light is the right size light for a ford transit 250 2017.possible electric issue with the light. light turns on when it wants to.plugged in my old light and the light works on command.

I don't understand why, but the 3rd brake light on Ford Transits (and those 2 little access panels on either side) pop off! The clips holding the light in broke.The gasket that comes with the light is junk, so I bought black gasket maker in a tube from Napa (I had to buy 2 tubes).I used it on the light and the 2 side panels and a strip of masking tape over them to hold while it cured.Time will tell if it stays put!
