My son really wanted this skateboard because he's a beginner and he liked the colour; however, he took it out of the box, and while it was still wrapped in plastic, all of the wheels were dirty and scuffed up. Also, suspiciously, the plastic was wrapped UNDER the wheels, making it impossible to remove fully without taking off all of the hardware. Frustrating, and disappointing, especially when other similar skateboards are half the price.

I'm mostly pleased with my purchase. The classic retro design and the quality of the materials are definitely noteworthy. It's a stylish and compact skateboard that's easy to carry around.However, it might be a little challenging for beginners. The shorter wheelbase and compact size make it less stable compared to longer skateboards, which can be tricky for someone just starting out. Once you get the hang of it, it's much fun to ride and perfect for quick trips around town or campus.If you're a beginner, it might take some practice to get used to, but if you're up for the challenge, the Retrospec Quip Mini Cruiser is a great choice for a stylish and portable skateboard.

The Board is sturdy! I am 250 lbs and I can jump on the center, I can make the board touch the ground if I do this (I can ride it normally just fine I was curious if I could break it) the board flexes in normal riding but it doesnt break. The bearings are really bad on this board so buy another set of bearings with a reputible brand name. After adding on my own bearings this board became a great cruizer and for less than a real nickel board.

This is great for the price. Came already set up perfectly. I'm 100kg (220 lbs), and although I have to squeeze my feet onto this little board, it handles my weight fine as long as I am cruising around in mostly straight lines behind the kids on their bikes. Great value.

Bought this as a gift last year and it is a great board! A year later and it's still holding up! The colours were nice, good quality, super fun. A great buy for a great price!

Retrospec makes quality product at affordable price point. My 11 year old son just loves it and enjoys his summer vacation learning skateboard. In-fact it is a well built equivalent to penny board. Easy for him to carry around and enjoy learning in the skateboard park. He made a lot of progress in the 2 weeks period he had his. Only downside is buying this as the stock availability changes all the time during the day for different colors (caused little bit of issue of buying the color of his choice)

I loved the size and the feel! Plus, it's a great product for the price. I ordered the board that was Seafoam and Tangerine, however, the wheels in the picture compared to the wheels I had gotten were a little darker then I had expected. Also, when I received the board there was plastic between the board and trucks. I'm alright with this though because I'm not very picky and it can be fixed. As well, the colours still look good together so I'm fine with it. Overall, great board!
