It's a nice looking model. Unfortunately, it lacks the finesse and accuracy of a Tamiya quality model. 1) The molding machines let too much leakage overflow the pieces; a LOT of shaving and sanding is required for the smaller pieces which invites opportunity for pieces to break when cleaning them up. 2) The instruction manual lacks some clearer explanation or order of part construction. In various cases I had to change the order to simplify construction. 3) Many parts don't fit well together. That aspect is not too bad but could stand to be improved. 4) The molds casts have to many visible joint or injection points. This also requires a lot of sanding to dispose of unsightly deformations.My only reason for getting this one is because I could not find it at Tamiya, OR (and this is a big "OR"), Tamiya products have grossly increased in prices and 3rd party distributors.I have seen worse which is why I gave this model a 3 and not 2 or 1.If you have the patience to clean up the "flaws" then it is probably worth getting this for its price.On a side note, I have to question if this is truly 1:32. Looks more like a 1:48 but I haven't checked the model specs vs. the real unit so.... do your research

Unless you know exactly what you are doing with putty and sanding, stay clear. This is a very difficult model to build, as the moldings are horrendous and require significant touch ups.

So I'm not a huge model builder, but I have built enough in my years to say this is NOT what I would consider a good kit.Plastic is pretty thin, like you can almost see through it. A lot of flash on sprues and parts to clean off.I found some of the parts are twisted and I think this is due to the thin plastic used in making this kit.I bought this kit because not many kit makers make a Huey UH-1D model any more. :(

This kit has been circulating for years and has had very little fixes for the heavy flashings everywhere on it which are a shame. But still it is a great and simple build even for a beginner. I used it for a EFL student’s lessons when talking about aircraft engineering and design. The detail of certain parts made the build fun for the student who had never built a model before.It seems that this model is no longer made so I am going to search for another one somewhere for my own private collection.Pros: easy to build, great size and simple enough for beginners.Cons: some parts weren’t injection molded properly, some parts like the front frame of the windshield were incomplete by half a millimeter. Needed to use some ingenuity to fix the issues.The flashing left around the mold were a little too much and made sanding harder than it had to be.

I have built a lot ok model kits over the years and sometimes I forget how bad theas Revell kits fit together as compared to say Academy or Tamiya

El único problema q encontré es q las pegatinas ya eran viejas entonces eran quebradizas al ponerlas, me imagino q por ser kit antiguo tiene mucho almacenado, aún así si compraría otro en un futuro si sigue estando disponible.
