Protective Sleeves

Protective sleeves will prevent damage from sharp or rough edges on the vehicles or objects being towed, which will extend the life of your tow strap.

Poly/Silk Webbing

How to Safely use a Recovery Strap

A recovery strap is a useful tool for pulling a vehicle out of a ditch, mud, or other difficult terrain. Here are the steps to follow to use a recovery strap safely and effectively:

Ensure that both vehicles are on stable ground and turned off. Check that the recovery strap is in good condition and free from any tears, cuts, or other damage.
Identify a secure attachment point on the stuck vehicle. The attachment point should be a strong, solid metal point, such as a tow hook or frame rail. Do not attach the recovery strap to plastic parts or bumpers, as these can break under the force of the pull.
Attach one end of the recovery strap to the secure attachment point on the stuck vehicle.
Identify a secure attachment point on the pulling vehicle. The attachment point should also be a strong, solid metal point, such as a D Ring Shackle or frame rail. Do not attach the recovery strap to plastic parts or bumpers.
Attach the other end of the recovery strap to the secure attachment point on the pulling vehicle.
Signal to the driver of the pulling vehicle to begin slowly driving forward. As the pulling vehicle moves forward, the recovery strap will start to stretch, building up tension.
Once the recovery strap has stretched as far as it can go, the driver of the pulling vehicle should continue driving forward slowly, pulling the stuck vehicle out of the difficult terrain.
Once the stuck vehicle is free, both vehicles should be brought to a stop, and the recovery strap should be disconnected carefully from both vehicles.
Store the recovery strap properly by coiling it neatly and securing it with Velcro straps or a storage bag.

Love this recovery strap not that I have had to use it yet . It's heavy duty and appeals to a friend of mine who thinks it should be in his 4x4.. I cant see any issues with it.

Fast shipping. I haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet. The strap was a replacement for one of our vehicles recovery kits. I would have given it 5 stars but upon close inspection the stitching lines on one end were not even. The stitching penetrates all layers and is completely around the edges. It just visually looks “wonky “.
