I wanted to be able to take full control the amount of time I'd spend in heart rate Zone 2 on my indoor cycle trainer, so I needed an accurate (and comfortable) heart rate monitor. I've owned chest-mounted band HRMs, a couple of Fitbit wrist-worn devices and an Apple Watch, but none of these would send data to Rouvy (the cycling app).I've compared the Rhythm+2.0's heart rate readings to my Apple Watch Ultra and they're identical, and with the Rhythm+2.0's strap fully extended it fits so comfortably around the tricep area of my arm, it's unnoticable. There's a single "button" on the Rhythm+2.0, and pairing couldn't be easier, press and hold the surface button until the LED flashes blue/red, it's in pairing mode. My iPad found the Rhythm+2.0 first time, and Rouvy included it as a sensor. To power down or up, just press the button which is part of the rubberised logo on the Rhythm+2.0, and it's ready to go.The Rhythm+2.0's elasticated strap is super-easy to remove for washing or drying, but super secure when wearing. The supplied USB charging clip-in dock comes with a decently long cable so that it's easy to recharge after use. This is a great product, really well thought out.

I bought this replacement to work with my Schwinn IC4.While I thought it was a bit pricey, I was pleased with how well it works. Good job.

For now I give 4 stars because I have no long term experience with it. I had a Polar H10 chest strap where I constantly had to change battery and it lost its water tightness. This is a plus with this product. It’s rechargeable although holds only for 24h but I don’t have to constantly buy batteries and therefore it remains watertight. Having it on the arm is also more comfortable than wearing a chest strap. Furthermore when getting dressed with cycling bibs and jersey it’s easy to put it on after. With a chest strap you have to get undressed again in case you forgot. In case of itch you can reach it and scratch or reposition. Not so with a chest strap. Also there are multiple positions to wear it. The price is good too.

I don't like leaving bad reviews. I really don't.I got this device to monitor to compare readings to my Apple Watch. The Apple Watch does a pretty good job - but it gets confused by my arrhythmia, and frequently shows heart rates in the 40s (due to the arrhythmia).I was hoping that the Shosche monitor would overlook the arrhythmia and give me a more accurate result than my watch.I have a pacemaker that doesn't let my heart rate drop below 85 for more than a few seconds at a time.As I sit here, writing this review, the Shosche monitor is showing a heart rate of 45. It's been stuck below 50 for quite a while. The Apple Watch is showing a more accurate heart rate of 90.Perhaps this Shosche thing would be good for athletes, but it's certainly wrong for me. (Note - I've recharged this a few times, with no change in the reports. The iPhone software shows 'zones' - with each zone being higher than the one before it (the higher the heart rate, the higher the zone number), but there's no way to set the zones, or to set alarms when the rate hits a particular zone.It works with a few apps - most of which require payment to use --- but if the results are inaccurate, what good is the meter - or what it tells the app.I haven't contacted the manufacturer about the problems with this device. Perhaps they'll replace it, but I doubt I'll have more luck with a new one.For me, this band is a DEFINITE NO.

It is hard to turn off.The connection would not fully hold for the first month or so when I was on the bike so the reading results were off because of it, but it seems to have corrected itself now.
