The thing that tightens on the screw to hold it all together is too small and impossible to turn on. I had to spend extra time going to the hardware store to find one that works. You think they could check to make sure everything is functional before sending.

The carrier was easy to assemble (according to my husband). My daughters (4,7) were so excited to start taking baby dolls and stuffies for rides. The dolls and stuffies have stayed in place. My girls are not going on long rides or up/down a lot of hills so I can’t speak on that. Deducted one star for the placement. The doll seat sits a little bit under the child seat. However both of my girls are still able to get on and off their bikes. A child would not be able to swing their leg on it around the back though.

I installed this on my 7-year-old's bicycle and she is the happiest kid on my block. I don't know how long it's going to last due to its fragile construction.

My 8 year old daughter loves this chair for her dolls! She wanted to be just like mommy with her bike seat attachment and she was very happy with this product. I was able to easily put it on her bike myself and it fit her little babies as well as her larger (American girl) dolls. Great fun!

Little small for the 18" dolls. Easy to install though. My daughter just uses hers for stuffed animals rather than her dolls.

We purchased this along with the doll helmet for a birthday party of a friend. It was such a hit we used it again for a neighbor's kid. She was thrilled and then when the kids rode bikes together my girls complained that they didn't have their own so Santa brought them for my kids this year. The seat is solid plastic and shaped so that the doll will sit up and look like she's enjoying her ride, not flopping around. The velcro band keeps the doll from falling out and the kids can do themselves. Seat comes in pink and purple (this is for pink but we have bought both) and quality is the same. Kids really liked having stickers to decorate the seats. I found it easy to install and it stays secure. Cheap gift that gets used regularly if you have bike riders! (-:
