This product was expensive. The little elastic thing to keep the wire on the spool lost its elasticity and the entire thing came off the spool and its been a pain to deal with since that happened. I lost a nice size bluefish today when it bit right through it. Not the first time that has happened either. It fails on every level. Well no, it is easy to tie a knot for wire and also easy to cut so take that as how you want. Good luck!

this line is great for fly fishing for Walleyes and Northern pikes. It is a little hard to cut and I use a small pair of side cutters Can be knotted or twisted and melted with a lighter

This is great tippet, easy to knot, easy to cut, and doesn't seem to want to slice into mono leaders under strain using a simple triple surgeon's knot. I was having problems with pike biting off my bass streamers, and this is just the solution I was looking for.

It is good stuff, easy to tie and is strong. the lower stars are for cost and it kinks pretty fast. You'll want to tie your knots with as little of the knot passing over your running line as this will kink the leader part. As a result I generally use a clip on for the fly. Of course I am all ways suspicious that I get fewer bites cause of the clip. the big pike seem to not care about the leader kink or clip.
