The navy-blue top of this cover is coated with a UV-resistant high-density polyethylene and the bottom side is black to prevent algae growth. The Robelle Economy Winter Cover features a 7 x 7 scrim (threads per square inch.) This cover is constructed with a polyethylene material that weighs 2.2 Ounce/yard. Two grommets are placed on center every four feet. With these grommets, you should use the included stainless steel winch and all-weather cable to secure your pool cover. The Robelle Economy Winter Cover includes a five-year warranty.

The cover seems as good as all the other covers I have purchased. I am concerned that this cover will not make it through the winter. The site says 3 ft overhang. I'm lucky if I have 1 foot overhang around my pool. I've closed it the same way every year and have always had a decent overhang. I also didn't realize the overhang was short until it was on the pool for the winter so much too late to return.

The cover fits great, the ratchet on the other hand broke with the first turn on the handle, it was not correctly made or made cheaply

Edit - after contacting the seller/manufacturer to submit under warranty I told firm at 0 stars. Please don’t waste your time or money on this cover they don’t honor warranty and instead will have you jump through hoops and send multiple emails only to offer you a new cover for $50US! What a joke!!I need to find out about how to submit for warranty. This cover was just purchased and installed last fall after having our old one for years. This one hasn’t even lasted one winter and is ripped in multiple places.

Came in missing a metal grommets in the hole where the wire goes. Had to use anyway no time to return would have like a little compensation considering it will probably rip through in the first season
