I really love this product. I have one problem, though. I'm a drummer, and I haven't found a way to mount this. I'm setting it on a percussion tray. However, since the percussion tray has a lip to prevent things from sliding off, and the tray buttons are so small, it's very difficult to adjust volumes while I'm playing. I try and lean the unit on the edge of the tray, which puts it at an angle, but it won't stay there. Other than that, it's great!

This lets you plug in 2 sources like a guitar and mic, along with a monitor output such as a stereo headphone mix, and hear it all through headphones. You can then then pass your source signals through to, for instance ,2 separate input channels of a recording interface. The beauty of it is that the performer now has independent mixing control over their 2 sources and monitor mix directly out to their headphones, right at their fingertips. Signals being fed to the recorder aren’t being affected in any way.Whew. Hard to even clearly explain what this is in layman’s terms. But I’m trying to because I’ve found that a lot of musicians and home recording people I meet don’t even know this exists or exactly what it does, and it can be a really great refinement to add to a podcasting setup or a small or large recording studio setup.I use several of these when live-recording bands in my studio. Every player gets one, and they can easily control their own mix levels as needed without affect my recording levels. This thing is built well, sounds very good and has plenty of volume and power to run any headphone. They can make the job easier and more comfortable for everyone. They also make one with only 1 source and a monitor output, if you don’t need the 2 channel version.Highly recommended.
