Not sure what Rubbermaid's going for with this product line - - nothing seems to be universal to fit the Fast Track. If you put this on one fast track it will kind of clamp down but not that sturdily. The other Fast Track it'll sit on top and doesn't fasten in. It'll hold something but this thing won't stay still when you're taking it off. I think they kind of took a real good idea with Fast Track and botched it with the attachments.

I originally bought this storage system in the US and have never seen it in Canada. I brought a couple of the racks home with me along with some hooks. When I installed them, I decided I needed more hooks. I was thrilled to find them available on Amazon.

Rubbermaid FastTrack line of products is probable the best thing to happen to garages everywhere since the garage door opener. One of the walls in my garage is end to end with FastTrack railings and all kinds of hooks and vertical railings and bins and everything else. For years my garage was a complete mess, many times I tried to organize it. but always was overwhelmed by the mess after an hour or two. FastTrack has been the one thing that made me stick with my garage organization project, until I finally got it done. My garage is a picture perfect well organized area. This product line is so easy to install, convenient and it's made to grow with your organizing needs. Now, I look for excuses to add more railing and hooks; I only regret that I ran out things to put away so I haven't added any FastTrack products in about 2 weeks. I'm having withdraws!

I just painted and organized my garage. I picked up the fast track system to help me in this quest. I wanted to get a couple of my recycling bins off the floor and on the wall, they were taking up precious floor space!I was actually worried these wouldn't stay in place. They don't have clips like the larger hooks have. I decided to try them out anyway, and I was pleasantly surprised that they do click in place. Thank goodness! Anyway here's how it worked out!Highly recommended, I hope this helps!

This particular fast track piece is the best value of all the pieces. I have used it most often on my fast track system because it is both low cost and very versatile for hanging most garage objects. If you are looking around for how to complete your fast track just grab a few of these. The more expensive, specialized ones are not as handy and cost way more.

I have a bunch of holders for the fast track system, and overall the system is great.I use it for yard tools and sorting equipment. I snowboard, play hockey, golf, used to play lacrosse, and therefore have the equipment to store, and this thing is great.One thing to point out about this particular hook is that it does have a 25lb limit, and it is kind of flimsy feeling... initially I thought I would hang my hockey equipment (Goaltender) up on it to fry, but I don't think it would hold up too well with the larger equipment such as a wet 25 pound chest protector... I mean it can hold it, but it seems like that's about all it could take and it may start to bend.It's silly that the picture of a hammer on this, why would anyone ever use the fast track for that... a hammer belongs on the peg board, unless that small sledge in the picture has one super long handle, in general this system is for the bigger equipment, and this hook seems under powered.Overall I would say it comes down to cost versus utility, and this thing is the cheapest hook you can get for the rubber maid fast track system, so I say go for... just don't expect to hang a grown man's corpse from it to dry it out to make some man jerky... because these hooks can't handle that.
