Very much like the photos and as advertised. A couple of them weren't angled at a prefect 90-degrees, but you can man-handle them into perfect alignment easily. Classy on the shelf!

Very sturdy, and definitely worth the extra money as feel like they look a lot more luxurious that a lot of book ends. Would pay a fortune in an interior design shop for these!

These bookends are very solid quality. They have pads on the bottom to prevent scratches on your shelves and also to prevent the bookends from sliding. They're made out of a metal with a nice weight to it, so it feels much sturdier than you would think, which, when combining it with the pads on the bottom, help the bookend from not being moved from the weight of the books.At the time of writing this review, only the gold colour is listed. I'm not sure why the black was removed, as I liked that it was matte and matched my shelves better. The price for one pair of bookends is reasonable ($24.99 for 1 pair), but the price for 2 pairs is more than double the price of 1 pair which makes no sense (currently $85.08 for 2 pairs).

I ordered these bookends for my son's loose books shelf. The quality and sturdiness are above my expectations, aside from having a detailed classic look. There are solid, and the features I like the most that do not seem to be shown in the advertised pictures are the rubber stoppers underneath, which are a well-thought addition to this product because you can not worry that they damage or scratch your wooden or anything that is sensitive surface. These bookends are beautiful; maybe they would fit a better setting, like in the living room as decorations or a more extensive library, because I feel they are outside my son's room vibe and ambiance. I understand the pricing range; these bookends are high quality & chic looking, so they are worth the money. I do recommend this product.

These book ends are beautiful in their simplicity. Im always in need of book ends to support my notebooks or piano books. These are a lot stronger than they look or feel. There is a slight bend to them with a little give that seems to allow them to support more weight than other bookends of the same weight. I was able to hold about 10 piano books which is about 14lbs with the edges pointed out. You can get a simpler/sleeker look by putting the books over the bottom so the bookends are barely visible, depending on your preference. They are currently priced at $24.99 for two which is reasonable for the quality, but I probably wouldn’t pay more than that.

The texture of these is a bit rough and it does stain a bit. I rubbed a piece of paper against it just to test it and some color did come off on it. So if you have white or lighter color books or you will regularly take books out that this will rub against, then I wouldn't recommend it. Other than that it is durable and well made.

These are lovely bookends. Really sturdy, and work perfectly to hold even heavy cookbooks in place. They have little rubber feet so they don’t slide. I’m super happy with them.

These bookends are good quality and sturdy. It can easily withhold a pile of hardcover books from tipping off, and the small pads at the bottom prevent it from slipping off on the book shelf. I ordered a pair of Gold ones and they are exactly how its pictured, except better looking than photos!! From a price perspective, I think they are somewhat expensive compared to what is readily available with other retailers; although I have never found them in gold. I would totally recommend this item!
