I got this set of 4 sandbags after a recent gusty day made me realize I needed to better secure a few things in the yard, including an umbrella and a portable greenhouse structure. Here are some things I like about these sandbags:* Aesthetic: While a bag of sand or some rocks could be used in some uses, I appreciate the more intentional look this provides. Additionally, the green matches my umbrella, so it is part of a cohesive look.* Velcro straps: Each bag has 3 velcro straps at the side to attaches to posts and poles for anchoring. The velcro is strong and attaches to itself - nothing needs to be added to the item you are securing.* Fabric: the fabric is a fairly durable nylon material. It will be able to withstand being out in various weather.* Easy fill, easy empty: The bag is closeable with velcro. You can add sand or rocks for weight.* Size and handle: these are big enough to provide a lot of weight when filled, but not so the average person can't move it at all. If you need to move the sand bag, there is a comfortable handle at the top to help you.One concern I have is that the stitches appear loose in parts. This may affect the wear of the bags over time, especially if they are used periodically (e.g. filled and emptied whenever going to the beach vs being left out in the yard). If that happens, it should be an easy mending job. Overall, I'm pleased with these sandbags.

We use pop up canopy tents for camping all the time. These prevent wind from lifting them up very effectively. They're easy to fill with sand or gravel. I just roll the top down a bit so sand doesn't get stuck in the top velcro closure. Use a small shovel or plastic cup to fill each sand bag. These are made of durable, thick material. There are 3 velcros on the side to attach it to a leg. I like that it also has the top handle for easy carrying. Overall they're great and useful to have.

Useful for beach umbrellas that only rely on being screwed into the sand... cause mine are normally blown away by the wind but these will help them hold on.Many tents with legs that simply sit on top of the sand will come with this product already so this will work perfectly as a replacement if you lost one. These fold into a very small and almost flat size.

These canopy sand bags from brand SANWAY are just are good for using in a photography setting. I am able to fill them and keep my tripods, lighting and backdrop stands weighted down when I am doing events and portrait sessions.I like that the velcro wraps in several places, and these bags are ideal for the base of any pole. The brand offers them in a variety of colours. I chose the forest green colour. Durable and flexible as to how you can use them. 5 stars.

Every year, we do craft shows with our canopies, which are typically set up for just the weekend. Most of the time, we are able to stake our canopies into the ground, but occasionally, we need extra support to keep them stable during windy conditions. In the past, we've used water jugs and have seen people use cement-filled PVC pipes. However, none of these solutions are particularly aesthetically pleasing, so I decided to give these weighted bags a try.The bags' material and stitching are excellent, the handles are sturdy, and the hook-and-loop is good quality. When empty, they fold down nicely and pack away easily, making them a simple and effective solution. The dark green colour is subtle enough that it doesn't stand out too much.Ideally, you'll use whatever is nearby while at the show to fill the bags. Fine gravel is an option, but it's not particularly heavy. A better choice is sand, and even better than that is wet sand. You can either bring sand with you or hopefully find some nearby. Each bag can hold about 26 to 27 pounds of wet sand, which is reasonably close to the 112 pounds suggested in the advertisement. One downside of this bag is that it doesn't have a strap at the bottom. Canopies and gazebos typically feature a flared foot design that allows spikes to be hammered through openings in them. A strap at the flared section would help prevent any potential upward movement of the canopy legs during breezy conditions. While these bags are priced at a slight premium compared to other options on the market, they are well-made and smartly designed, and I still consider them a fair value for their size.

I picked up the SANWAY Sand Bags to help hold down my canopy for Bonnaroo and Camping, and they’ve done the job really well. The material feels heavy-duty and durable, and I like that each bag can hold a good amount of weight, perfect to keep the canopy in place. The straps and Velcro make them easy to secure to the tent legs, and once filled, they really keep everything grounded, even on windy days.We used play sand to fill them, once filled, they’re rock solid. Definitely a solid buy if you’re looking to keep your canopy secure.

As my wife and I do some indoor and outdoor markets in the doing and summer, we like to use some portable pop up tents and canopies. The issue is the wind is not a friend of these texts. You can’t tie them to walls or pegs if applicable but I prefer weighted. These sand bags are a good, easy way to add support and weight.Keep in mind, these do not include sand so you will need to pick some of that up as well.Once bags are fill, secure them and you are good for business.Good price and good quality material.
