This product is total junk. It was defective from the very beginning and customer service would not return or replace it. Half of the videos would not download and the files were corrupted. I would have to perform the sewer scope three times to get one usable video. I contacted customer service and they blamed my computer, I tried it on other computers and it did the same thing so then they blamed the SD card, but I used 5 different cards and still the same corrupted files issue. So they finally sent me a replacement card writer. They sent me a defective product then expected me to fix it. I told them I wanted an exchange for properly working equipment or a return and refund and they refused. I told them I was not capable or wiling to disassemble this sensitive piece of equipment to perform repairs (remember it is brand new) and they refused to give me any other option. So I replaced the card writer and it fixed the problem temporarily. Now the card writer is not recording again. PLUS, in the mean time, the cable/pusher snapped during a routine scoping, I had to replace that, half of the LED lights on the camera are no longer working, and now the screen doesn't turn on at all. It is completely useless now and it never worked wright and customer service just keeps giving me the run-around and stopped responding all together. I've had to refund nearly a quarter of the customers who paid for a sewer scope because this camera did not produce a recording. It's been noting but frustrating, disappointing, unreliable and expensive. This thing is a bigger POS than the turds it swims through. I wish I would have spent a little bit more on a quality brand to begin with. I ended up having to buy a backup camera and the total cost of the two cameras and the lost revenue has added up to way more the cost of a top quality camera form a reputable company.

I'm not typically one to review a product before proper use, but will update the review after using. I've been using a Ridgid Seesnake for over a decade and had another cable kink happen, which has happened multiple times over the years and it seems anytime something goes wrong with that camera I'm spending at least $1,000 to fix it. Decided to pick this one up as a backup and look forward to trying it out. The loaded unit with the self leveling head, counter and 512hz sonde was less than half the price of a new 200ft push cable for the Ridgid.Camera showed up quickly and all functions appear to be working as intended. Would be nice to have a hot key to turn microphone on/off so you can leave voice annotations without having to go through the menu. The self leveling head seems a bit sticky at times, but will hopefully smooth out a bit with use as the bearing works in. Will be doing a couple inspections this week and am hopeful it's going to be a decent option for lighter jobs.

Works great! Clear video and easy to record video and take pics for our plumbing company.

Order came day sooner than expected. Camera has great picture and the 7mm pushrod is nice and sturdy but flexible. Only used it for a second but made it passed a 90 and was still really easy to push. Haven’t used the 512hz sonde which is why gave 4 stars. If that works once I get a locator than for the price I’d say can’t beat it.

Sanyipace self-leveling sewer camera and underground pipe locator are easy to use and they both work giving excellent video pictures. I used a plumber last month who charge 750 dollars just for using his camera during the stoppage work call to the home plus the normal 250 dollars for the work call. If we use the camera system 2 times at has paid for itself. When recording video you can stop and restart at any point during the operation while the camera is in the sewer line. Camera pictures showed we did not have to use the drain sewer snake . Using the locator we pinpoint the rust location in the sewer pipe for future for reference in case of another stoppage.

I got the 7mm cable version and I'm happy with it. Its been several months and no issues. Hopefully it lasts and will update if any issues occur. At least with this scope you can buy parts, like a new camera or new reel. Some cheap sewer scopes don't offer that so if you break one part you're out of luck. But for a self leveling camera with a 7mm reel, 512hz emitter, and a nice display, this is a great buy. Only complaint I have is the button lay out for the display is goofy. The play button is to bring up videos or photos, but once you highlight over the video you want to play back, you do NOT press the play button, but instead the button to the right. Not exactly an intuitive set up. But its a small inconvenience for the price.
