Too heavy and hard to collapse

works of course, but I would not use it to hold a very expensive horn. Need something much stronger and stable. Needed it quick so bought this one...

As far as sax stands go, this is pretty good overall. This locks in with push-in button locks so it won't accidentally fold. As for the material its made from, solid steel, and I don't feel that this is something that can easily be damaged or bent. There is the smallest bit of play between the legs and the part that holds the sax (wiggles back and forth maybe an 1/8th of an inch), but it's not incredibly noticeable and I do think there are some adjustments I can make with a pair of pliers or vice grips to tighten it up.The pads that hold the sax are sufficient. I've seen them more cushiony on some other stands, but there's definitely no issues with this one as it does the job.Worth the price of $28.99 in my opinion as it is way better than laying the sax on the floor or chair. Recommend.

This saxophone stand is made of metal. It is built to ensure sturdy and durable, perfect for gigs and practice sessions. The soft pad keeps my sax safe from scratches, and the adjustable backrest is for alto and tenor saxophones. It's portable and foldable, making it easy to carry.
