Best price from overall Schlage line up. Has Schlage's auto-lock feature which discourages users to override the lock, effectively leaving door openable for non residents. Incorporate time delay buzzer in the event door left ajar.

Installed easily (though I needed to drill door, make sure you check yours) and works perfectly. Love the convenience of not having to carry a key.

Well built, heavy duty, sturdy construction. Looks real nice on door, easy to use. Makes coming in and out much easier , especially when bringing in groceries etc. Had 2 of them professionally installed and both locks keyed the same so I only have one key if ever needed. Put in matching deadbolt along with keyless entry lock. Took the locksmith about one hour to do both doors. Might take an average homeowner a little longer, and the keying and passcode setting might be difficult for some. I would recommend having a professional do it, but its not that difficult for those with handyman skills.

Love this keypad entry. It took 5 minutes to install and another 5 minutes for me to delete all of the default codes and replace them by ou r own individual family ones. I really like the option of auto lock on or off, very convenient when working around the house. This way, I leave it at unlock for going in and out all day. The auto-lock feature is a great piece of mind option, eliminating those ''did I remember to lock the door'' occasions. The Schlage button lights up the keyboard for those who don't have a light in the entrance way.Contrary to many keypad locks out there, the Schlage's battery only operates the lock's pin, not the whole dead bolt movement itself. This means that very little power is needed, prolonging the 9V battery life to as much as 6 months or more. Types of keypads that move the deadbolt see their battery life reduced to as little as two months, sometimes even less!The handle must be clipped in position before installation, so you get to choose which direction they get to point (for left or right side door openings) If you screwed up, no worries as a small lock release tool is included to easily remove it. You may want to measure the space between your two door holes (if applicable) just to make sure there's enough space to fit this larger than standard keypad.** Pictures included a separate lock that isn't part of this handle/keypad kit.

Bought these for two office doors and could not be happier. I had installed two other brands and thought they were easy to install but they were nothing compared with Schlage. I would be amazed if I had been timed and was told it had taken me 5 minutes to install. My hardest challenge was removing the battery cover with my short nails and big meat hands.The unit itself it VERY high quality. The look and design are nice. Holding it in your hands feels like you are holding a safe. The metal is good quality and feels like it would take a sledge hammer to knock it off the door. Programming the codes is pretty simple and I programmed 5 - 4 digit codes in about 1 minute. Could not be happier with this purchase.

I have the same problem that others have had with this lock. After one year it broke down. I had a professional take a look at it. The problem is the spring inside the mechanism. I have an email into the manufacturer to see if there is any recourse. However, replacement it not an option..
