I love the look of the product, love the keyless entry, however I find a lot of the time the buttons don’t work when pressed. I’ve replaced the battery with a fresh one to be sure, disassembled and reassembled to make sure everything was tight, and connections were solid -to no avail. Sometimes I have to use a totally separate code because the numbers are hit and miss if they’ll work. (Mostly the 4, 6 and 8). Everything else is great.

I bought another one which was a little cheaper (MiLocks DKK-02AQ), and had decent reviews, but it felt cheap, got trapped outside, and was hard to set up the codes, etc. So, I decided to go with this one because of their reputation, and it REALLY paid off. The setup is much easier, it is MUCH sturdier. It feels solid and it does what it is supposed to do. Besides, it is really beautiful (got the bronze one). The extra money invested in it, is totally worth it. Don't lose your time and patience, go to Schlage directly!

I have used this before. Some changes have certainly improved the installation, notably the temporary holding in place while permanent screws are being installed. I use these on all my exterior doors and it sure saves on lost keys. Fumbled locating of keys etc

Easy to install, code and great when coming in with arms full to punch in code, push handle and open.Very happy and impressed and much cheaper than I found in hardware stores. Same product in plain box instead of all the fancy pictures and instructions.

Works great but I wasn't happy with the shape of the mechanism or the lever. I was looking for something more modern. I called Schlage and learned I could substitute another lever for the one that comes with this unit. I bought the "Schlage F10 LAT 716 Latitude Passage Lever" and swapped it out with the lever that came with this unit. It looks more modern and much better in my opinion.I gave only 4 stars because Schlage doesn't offer the more modern combo as an option so I had to buy a second unit and put together myself.

This is my third one, and I still need a couple more. It's so nice to be able to get in through all of the outside doors of my house without having to worry about keys and worrying if I locked all of the doors at night. I programmed these with all the same code, and set them to auto-lock behind me. Not sure about battery life as I've only had these installed for 6 months. No problems, they look good, easy to install and easy to program. And they seem to be holding up good to UV and rain. Not Bluetooth or Wave tech, so no smartphone control. But that's what I wanted anyway. I have a smart lock on my front door, but I never use the smartphone to control it anyways, and it was twice the price.

Bought this lock for our cabin. Works great and is beautiful. Have had loads of comments on how much others like it. I knocked a star off because the battery only lasted less than 3 months (when the booklet says it should last one year). Have just ordered two in another colour for the house.Update: put a brand new energizer battery in after the initial battery died at 3 months... the energizer only lasted just over one month!!! It's says to use alkaline and not lithium because while lithium lasts longer, they die too quickly when they do go. So this time I bought the Duracell batteries with the red top. Says extra life but is still alkaline. (Although it also says non alkaline)Update again: Duracell lasted less than one month. I am knocking off 2 stars because functionally, this knob is unreliable.Yet another update: so after having this for almost a year and installed for less than 6 months, and going through 5 batteries in that time, I finally thought 'something's just wrong'. Today (thursday) I phoned customer support and told them my problem. It was explained to me that these have lifetime warranty and the issue is a mechanical error. They are sending me a brand new door knob which should arrive on Monday! Because of the wonderful customer service and the fact that the problem will be remedied (quickly) , I've decided to restore my initial 5 star rating.

So easy to install it and lock works smoothly. Schlage makes excellent products, period. Amazons price compared to local hardware stores was no comparison.
