About this item

  • Extra-thick and extra-warm 4-inch air mattress provides a plush, insulated sleeping experience for winter (6.2 R-Value) camping and backpacking
  • Single-layer Air Sprung Cell construction mimics a spring mattress, using fully-insulated flexible loops for warmth and comfort
  • Multi-function valve for fast inflation in just a few breaths (using integrated Airstream Pumpsack), one-way deflation for quick packup, and fine-tuning of air pressure
  • Insulated pad features high-loft fiberfill and reflective fabric, to prevent heat loss and radiate heat back during sleep; non-slip 30D/40D nylon face fabric is durable and quiet
  • Tapered - Large size measures 78 x 25 x 4 inches, packs to 7.3 x 11 inches, weighs 2.1 pounds; includes stuff sack, field repair kit, and PillowLock patches for securing a Sea to Summit pillow to mat

The Ether Light XT Extreme is extra thick and exceptionally warm. The XT Air Sprung Cells provide four inches of stability and comfort, while dual-density layers of THERMOLITE® insulation prevent convective heat loss and internal air movement. This results in true four-season performance. Features 6.2 R-Value is perfect for cold weather adventures. At four inches thick, Ether Light XT Air Sprung Cells provides a plush sleeping experience. Dual-density layers of Thermolite® insulation fill the inner space, preventing heat loss due to convection and internal air movement. Lighter, quieter and durable 30D/40D face fabric with Sea to Summit’s liquid-extruded lamination is extremely reliable. Quick and easy inflation, deflation and adjustment is made possible by our multi-function valve and supplied Airstream Pump/stuff sack. PillowLock system prevents your Sea to Summit Aeros Pillow from slipping. Comes with a stuff sack which doubles as a pump, a repair kit with six self-adhesive patches and a spare valve insert.

Highly recommended for anyone because it’s long and wide enough to side sleep in the fetal position without your hips falling off pad. Easy to inflate and deflate, small package to carry on a backpack, easy to dust off and clean after sleeping on the ground. It held up to the extremely cold temperature I had to sleep in. I used it with my own extreme cold down sleeping bag and I was very comfortable. I got it on sale, but if I paid full price it’s worth every penny.

Slept in a 0°c bag with a +12°c liner. Night got down to -5°c and was very humid waking up to frost. Was never cold and never touched the ground despite being thin. very comfortable, didn't wake up with my back or hips aching. does squeak but not bad. I've used 2 other brands and although pricy this is amazing quality.

These look great... ordered yesterday and arrived today, I was told they would take a week. Ordered two, this way I can either make a double bed if camping solo of have the option of an extra bed if camping with a mate.I was expecting them to feel a lot more heavy, but was willing to compromise the weight for a decent night sleep... but they feel alot lighter then I was expecting which is great. The packaging is great too and well protected, compared to other companies then send them out in a fimlsy bag where they can became damaged before you even get to use them, which as been the case in the past.I know they're pricey, but they do feel extremely well made, the material is thick and feels very durable, you can feel the insulation and that there going to be great.I purchased Big Agnes Rapide SL Insulated Double Wide a few months back, only to find that it failed me the first night and ruined my trip... the weight of these two mats combined is less the the Big Agnes double and they don't feel as bulky neither.Highly recommend, I know they cost a lot more then the others on the market... but these feel like there going to last and its worth the investment, plus the R-value is great ... so either way you can use them summer camping or winter camping and your saving money without having to invest in different pads for the two seasons... I guess if your ultralight then these will be heavy, but when compared to other lightweight mats I have, there really doesn't seen to be much difference in the weight or bulk.I personally think your tent and sleeping system makes the biggest difference to your experience, and its worth the investment, rather than buying pads repeatable just to bin a months later because they're not fit for purpose. These feel like there built to last...

パンパンに空気を入れると若干反発が強いかなぁという感じです。座ると底着きしますが寝ると分散されて安眠できました。ただ高価な値段なのでR値を気にされないならグレード下げてもいいかもしれません。
