I'm new to growing sprouts at home so I wanted to give this a try as it sounded easy to use. It is very easy to use, you just have to remember to water them every day. I tried this with a bag of mixed sprouts and had some success. The trays fit together cleanly and it feels sturdy and well made.

This is a four-tier, stackable seed sprouter kit. The quality of these trays is good; they all fit together well and store inside one another for easy storage. Mine are all slightly bowed, with the centres being slightly higher than the edges. I’m not sure if this is a manufacturing defect or done intentionally by design for drainage, but I’m going to assume it’s by design.I usually grow radish sprouts in a mason jar but decided to give this method a try. I started two batches, one in a mason jar and one in these trays, each with 1 tbsp of seeds. I watered them at least twice per day. After 4 days, the sprouts in the mason jar were thick and ready to harvest. The sprouts in the tray were noticeably thinner and had developed fine hairs, which is an indication they need more water. They don’t look like they’ll be ready to harvest for another day or two.I didn’t have as much success growing radish seeds with these trays; perhaps other types of seeds would be more suitable.

Too expansive and not large enough. Ok for luzerne and small seed. I did buy another kind for regular germination. But I keep it. It's fine. Thanks.
